Has anybody taken the TAP route to 300hp? I am seriously planning on a stage 5 upgrade when I return from my deployment. I have a stock 97 1.8T quattro with 47K miles. I have done similar work once before with my older Nissan Sentra SE-R so I am not too worried about the mechanics. I really am interested in the reliability of the mods and the driveability of the car. Any thoughts would be welcome.

concerns as too how plausible the real numbers are vs the published numbers. he posts messages as "me" and is "leon" in the registry. all the parts and specs are there.

why not wait for apr's stage3 kit? 300hp, 315lbft torque. ~$6000(?). www.goapr.com
