Hokie, what was the stuff you used?

I forget the exact name... Advance Auto had it. It was made by 3M. A double sided tape that was almost like puddy. It actually looked like the same stuff that was already on the back of the badge I got (grayish in color). First I cleaned up the back of the 2.8 badge. Then I cut thin strips of this 3M tape and placed it in the crevaces on the back of the badge.

Give the tape a day to settle after you put the badge on the car. After a day it becomes very solid and the badge doesn't even wiggle when you touch it or try to rip it off.

but what are you guys thoughts on de-badging a 10 year old car with original paint, good shape but weathered. I just want to get rid of the "90 CS" portion.

Acutally, all the badging in black would look cool.

but some of the paint came off even using goo-gone and left a shadow of 90S on there. I put the RS2 badge one top but there's still some residue. I used some touch up paint but its doesnt work that well
