The earlier thread on cat-back exhausts has at least reestablished the fact that a cat-back exhaust reduces back pressure. But can anyone say how this benefits the car?

Is back pressure better for the turbo or the V6?

Is back pressure better for the street or racing?

What would a supercharger want (since I'm a 2.8 owner)?
