Making progress towards removing the engine from the 200. What a chore!! Its amazing how much road grime builds up over the years, but I am even more amazed at how some nuts and bolts that haven't been removed since the day they were tightened down somehow come off. Hopefully the engine will be out by the New Year.

Question though...I've been calling equipment rental places to rent an engine hoist. They don't have them. Do some auto parts stores rent them? For those that have rented them before, where did you get it?

I actually had to buy one, $200 at a FLAPS. It's come in handy, pulled the engine from the 5ktq, CQ, a couple F-bodies, Fox-bodies, and it will be pulling the 12v from RW's 90q12v when he's done with the new engine build.

The one on the FLAPS retail floor looked used, like they rented it out, so you may just want to call and ask.

I'd like to buy one, but for now I may just go ahead and rent it for a day.

I'm going to have to remember that acronym! 8-)
