when i hit semi big bumps at over 30mph my glovecompartment squeeks when it bounces has anyone had this problem?? i need a fix it is driving my insane!

When I first drove my 99.5 2.8 QMS home, there was this "chirping" (that's the best word I can think of to describe it) coming from the glove box area. It was actually behind the glove box.

It drove me nuts. I was determined that I would take that car back and have them fix it.

The next day it was gone. A week later it manifested itself again for one drive. Then it was gone. I've heard it a couple of times since then for brief instances, but it is, for all intents, banished from my car at this point.

I like self-healing cars. :-)
