yes my oil filter is still stuck, it has been a week now and nothing has changed. I have tried all your ideas and all mine and nothing, ive been chiseling it for the last 5 days or so and it hasnt done anything, I tried vise grips I tried my hand and nothing is working. The only idea I havent tried yet is the dremel idea, I want to try it I just dont know if it is safe or not, should I cut it around the outer rim or where the threading is and then pry the threads apart from eachother? I am very tempted to torch it but then I realize thats probally not the best idea. if anyone is in the Portland oregon area and think you can help please let me know I will be more than willing to pay you or anything! if you havent seen my previous posts heres the picture yet again. Advice on what to do with the dremel will be great. it pretty much looks the same except for there is no more sharp edges just a smooth outer rim.

from a large socket. By grinding down the socket, until it fit in 4 of the holes, of the filter. Namely at 12, 3, 6 & 9 clock positions.

btw, i believe you have to get under the filter to remove the cooler, so thats a no go.
Mik's idea is the easiest. yuo can also dremel a notch in the exposed threads, and back the threaded oil return out of the cooler and filter with a large screwdriver.

Maybe there is someone in this group nearby that can help. Sometimes fresh perspective results the an idea that works.

when i needed something metal to expand a bit to get it loose a hot air gun can work and unlike a torch will not burn/char the area. you have tried everything else....might as well do that also. if you have a small metal hacksaw you could take your time not to cut into the thread and get it close enough so you can then break it apart.

Use a pipe wrench on the end.
