When in automatic and the car shifts from 4th to 5th gear, right before it does so, it loses abour 100 rpm's then goes back up and shifts. Any reason for this?? Any cause for alarm??

I've heard that the reason for this is that the engine tries to burn off any excess fuel so it doesn't go out the exhaust unburned....
