Just curious about your experiences in terms of wear/mileage. How many miles can you get out of the pads in a 2.8 Quattro? Thank You.

Not totally sure, but I replaced the stock pads at about 18K miles (too much dust). This is on a QMS Avant. Fronts prob. had 3/4 thickness left; rears close to new it seemed. You'll prob. get 30K on a set of fronts, I postulate.

This is driving in hilly Pittsburgh/Western PA/western WV domain.

'97 2.8QM, at 32.5K miles, 60% front remained, less than 10% on the rear. Just changed to Mintex pads.

I would suggest you check your pads. It looks like different wear for different cars. Luck of the draw!

With all that dust, it's a wonder they last 10K.
