At that milage, you should plan on doing the timing belt and waterpump right away.

. . . if I ever sold aB3/B4 of mine, I'd naturaly have to progress to an UrS car, but that is just me. If you get it, take of those pin stipes, and slap on a Sport grill and clear turn signals. It's deffinatly hot though.

. . . if it had clearcoat then you'd have to worry about the claercoat spydering. Either way its a 9 year old used car. If it weren't an Audi, it would be almsot guaranteed to have a few spots of rust.

clearcoat should not crack/spider-web...Take a look at the '87 5kq I have, which is clearcoated and is approaching 17 years old. No paint problems on its original body panels.

The PO kept it garaged, it was special ordered for his wife actually, cleaned weekly. Then I bought it, and garage kept it for another year. Then the CQ was purchased, the 5kq got moved outside for the next 4 years. So yes, over half of its life was garaged, but it was also properly cared for (washed/waxed regularly, etc).

The milage yes is great, the price is also great, but what about how it was driving, id like to test drive it before wasting my money i mean why is it going for so cheap, seriously it sounds like a great deal but hmm dont be scamed, good luck
