If the individual commercials were not bad enough, Audi ran five consecutive commercials in two different time slots. Audi would be better not advertising at all, in my opinion, if it decides to keep this piteous excuse for ad agency.

Audi USA is catering to the upscale market. They are not targeting the performance market. I just got their Audi magazine and their article on the S4 was pretty tame. They kept talking about how the car is so good getting you to work and back and about emission controls. I think it's a mistake. Their commercials so far have been very forgetable. I've been impressed with the BMW and Maxima commercials. They really paint a picture of the car in your head.

One with an A4 Avant bouncing up and down by the beach... the couple inside throwing their clothes outside.

The other with an A4 sedan pulling up next to a biker gang. The A4 driver has something in his eye and inadvertantly winks... the biker sees this and blows a kiss in return. Freaked out, the A4 speeds away while the biker laughs at the response.
