The Audi horn has a ground wire & a 12v power wire. The Momo adapter doesnt have the provisions to run the 12v wire, only the ground. evilaudi 06-19-2003, 05:44 PM connected to one wire which connects to the one on the hub. YumyJager 06-19-2003, 05:49 PM My euro wheel needed a bit of modification to the ground to work. I had to make it to a point. Its what I had to do to get my horn to work with the Momo hub! ;O) Don@STaSIS 06-19-2003, 05:57 PM I believe. If you have two buttons and no ring then that is the issue. The airbag columns have the button, the non-airbag have the ring. If the hub you have now has a button then you need non-airbag covers, but unfortunately the TYP89 covers won't work with the switches you have in the car. You could maybe custom fit the covers, never tried that before. The hub adapter that momo makes does not have this. Miktip is right. you are going to have to find the ground wire that feeds to the tab and wire that to the ground wire comming of the hub adapter. Coiled wire will work great. I still haven't wired up mine yet, but planning on it real soon. |
