Last night my girlfriend and I went to another dinner for my birthday and took the Mercedes C230 instead of the Audi. On return, I looked at my rescently-washed Brilliant Black A4 parked in our driveway @ around 10:30pm. The car just shimmered in it's brilliance, that color just looks wonderful. I don't know why, and I know people will disagree, but my 99.5 looks damn good in black and I'm becoming more glad everyday that I went with that color. My girlfriend also complimented it when we arrived at my house and saw it sitting in the driveway. It looks so classy and refined in my opinion. The colors are just magnificent. Can't wait until spring for my suspension/wheels/tires. Then that car is just going to be even more gorgeous. To all the Brilliant Black A4 owners out there - kudos (and to the rest of you too :) )

I get thumbs up, stares, noded heads and "nice car" smiles quite frequently. Yeah, when you keep it clean, brilliant black is THE nicest choice of color.
