I too have noticed a slight rush of outside air coming through the window controls in the door. It only occurs when the sunroof is open. I wonder if this might be by design in order to relieve cabin pressure fluxuations.
I have a 99 Land Rover Discovery Series II with two sunroofs. The cabin is designed to be as water proof as possible since Rovers are often found trudging through up to 3 feet of water. At certain speeds, having one or both sunroof(s) open causes a great cabin pressure fluxuation which sometimes is so strong my ears pop. I allieviate it by cracking the rear windows. Land Rover knew about this when they designed the roof and states that one of the reasons they provide 2 roofs is so that you can open one roof and vent the other to avoid the pressure build up.
Does anyone else have this? If not, I guess some are not sealed correctly and some of us need to go to the dealer to have it fixed.
