Hi all,

I have drive my new A4 1.8TQMS for 2 weeks from now. I found that the range of the remote
is less than 4 car at parking log. Beside of this, the rear speaker have popping sound
(Only a little bit) and the right front speaker ( very serious popping) when playing song with
many Bass, Sound like something loose inside & the speaker hitting the surrounding. Can the
dealer fix these problem..? Also, will my NeuSpeed ECU Program be reprogram after
applying the remote range fixed..?

You have the bass control set too high on the head unit probably.... that speaker is not designed as a subwoofer, its a 6.5" midbass driver... that popping noise is caused when u make the cone travel further in its excursion path than its supposed to. Overtime if you continue to force the speaker to play in such a fashion you will smoke the voice coilsor tear the cone itself. Basically to fix it dont listen to R&B and Rap with the bass controller too high.
