Ok, long story, short version: While driving my winter tires on the Autobahn (in May), the tread started to come off on the front right tire. Anyway, changed it, put on my spare. However, winters are 185/60(?) R14, while spare and summers are on 205/60 R15. Basically, I had to drive with the spare on for roughly 500 km's, since I was a ways from home... Can driving different size tires/wheels cause any damage to quattro drivetrain/front differential??

Got summer tires now, Kumho. Reading the post farther down, they seem to have been a good buy, since they were rather affordable...
