...the 2.8 30V had some type of variable valve timing. But this was for the intake valves only as opposed to BMW's double Vanos system which adjust both the intake and exhaust valves.

Tony seems to disagree so maybe I'm mistaken. :)

I believe the A4 2.8 Avant has variable intake valve timing (nt)

when I read that the TT coupe did (according to the Audi TT brochure), it threw me for a loop! Is the brochure wrong, or did Ingolstadt put a different head on the TT 1.8T?
