So I'm heading over to the local Audi dealer in the morning to order:
A4 Avant 2.8QM Silver/Opal
Cloth seats
Sport package
Cold weather package
Xenon headlights
Navigation system
Hoping to pay 4-5% over invoice (there are some high-volume dealers in the area I can use as leverage, I hope).
Any words of wisdom?
Anyone interested in a one-owner, 87 Coupe GT in good shape (in New England, but first seven years in CA - no rust)?

1) Forget the navigation system; maps are a lot cheaper.
2) What about the trip computer? Neat little toy.
3) Forget the Xenon headlights; buy a set of Euros once you get the car (from my Porsche experience, much better light pattern that what the US govm't mandates. Haven't gotten them yet for the A4, but intend to).
Re the GT: there was a salesman at a Pittsburgh PA dealer who was looking for one. Bob Dry-Henich at Imports by Day; 724-327-4900.
1) Using a handheld GPS has made me a believer; besides the nav system is at least as cool a toy as the basic trip computer (see below).
2) Forgot to mention I'm talking about MY2K; trip computer is standard. My 87 CGT has the trip computer (part of the "Atari Dashboard" :) and I find it very useful (though it spends most of its time in "miles to empty" mode).
3) Long ago and far away, in my misspent youth, I worked as a mechanic. Don't want to do that anymore (though I do seem to spend an inordinate amount of time underneath my daughter's 87 4KCSQ). I'm happy to order the best available lighting system pre-installed.
Appreciate the comments, though...
