and 2-3 cuft for a 12"
eclipse titanium 10" only needs .66ft and 12 need 2.21 ft, smallest ive seen.
bigger is not better, too big the the sound gets dull and not as tight.

im going to make my own box and finish it with hard wood flooring I jacked from my job site.
the hard wood floor is same color as my interior wood trim it will be SWEETNESS
Ill try to learn how to use a digital camera(I now know how to use internet so im on my way) so as soon as I do ill post pics YAY!!!

I think the Alpine 10's take around 1 cu ft or less. Just remember. When you increase box size power handling is decreased due to the reduced pressure on the sub but low frequency extension is increased. That means the really low bass will play a little louder compared to a smaller box. But the sub won't handle as much power. If you have a low to mid powered amp 1 cu ft should work nice. Going near or past the subs power handling and I would keep the box closer to the smaller side of the manufactures recommended dimensions. All this applies to sealed boxes which is what I'mm assuming you have in mind.
