Cheers, cuatrokoop 10-14-2002, 07:10 PM I haven't noticed any odd patterns. I did with the D60A2's (225/50-16), they'd flat spot in a definate patter on the rears. The Sumitomo's seem to be ok (215/45-17). Don@STaSIS 10-14-2002, 07:22 PM Howdy! My Kumho 16's have worn oddly in the rear for sure. I get flat spotting in the rears, so I rotate often, but all that happens in I get vibrations all around. I am actually looking forward to 15" snow tires, sigh... Cheers, Mabe 10-14-2002, 07:38 PM I bought my wheels used off another 90 Quattro. The wear was VERY odd. One tire had alot less treed and there were some flat spots. I explained it away by the fact 3/4 wheels were very poorly balanced. I just replaced the tires about 1300 miles ago with Yokohama AVS ES100s. Too soon to notice anything. These are awsome tires btw. Stick great in both wet and dry. Low noise, very easy to drive at the limit. C5867 10-15-2002, 01:42 AM Just put 215/45/17 Ventus HR11 on my car. I also aligned it and the car had excessive rear toe. I am sure that would cause them to wear funny. I have had them on for about 2,000 miles and wear is good so far. I am watching them with a watchfull eye to make sure there is no funny wear. Oh yea the car is a 95 quattro sport H+R and bilstein sports.
