View Full Version : Cracked hose . . . Vacume leak . . ?

In the pic (sorry, old Dig. Cam.= fuzzy pic) you can see a cacked elbow hose that is clamped at both ends and connects to the TB. It seems to be cracked. When I stomp on my throtle in neutral it studders a bit then recovers after 2.5 - 3k-ish, could this be the culprit. If so what is this (part # would help too).


P.S. Its a 20v

and the car was still drivable:-) She was driving it for a year(lol) after that ductape fix.

The angled hose piece between the two clamps literally dissolved before my eyes as I was removing the throttle body for some cleaning. Ended up replacing quite a few other vac lines as well.

Believe it or not, I found Audi parts from the dealer were cheaper than generic ones from NAPA. Your milage may vary.
