My 90S overheated badly yesterday. Went from 0 to blowover (coolant) in a mile and a half. The fans work when the AC is on, but don't come on otherwise. Is there/where is a switch or sensor that is causing this problem? or is it something else? Mechanics don't have a clue. By the way, it's a '93. Thanks guys!

If it's the same one, I have a spare. Problem is I can't give it to you for three weeks.

On my car, you can unplug the connector and short pairs of terminals together to run the fan on - 3 terminals, shorting one pair give low speed, another pair gives high speed. That should let you know whether it's the switch or wiring.
