I heard you might be doing a tech session at your house in VT. If this is so, I'm totally game either to come up there and check it out, smoke a couple fat joints, (or hit the bong, whatever your preference) or we can just throw down and fight because you probably want to kick my huckleberry ass for all the teasing you've put up with from me.
Eitherway, I'd be game to show up in VT towards the end of the month if you know of some good races, autox's, whatever. Perhaps we could have a little Audi World outing and all meet up there for a kegger or som'ing.

Howdy! I was toying with the idea, offered a while back on the quattro list, but it's quite a drive up here and many wanted a closer venue to NY and CT. Though since Mt Washington was cancelled the idea of having a northern get together for all the Audi folks seemed like a good idea. I have been pretty busy lately, though it may be possible to get something together for mid August, maybe. I haven't been with the quattro list for a few months now and I do not know if anyone else had offered any tech sessions or get togethers lately.
Either way I may, but unlikely unless their is serious interest. There is a ton of parking here at the house, not much room for wrenching, lots of space for grilling, always plenty of good VT beer in this house (bottling some homebrew tonight), a Mobil station for gas and more beer across the street, it could be a good space for more of an Audi get together and less tech oriented.
Would anyone in the greater VT/New England area be interested in an Audi type grille/beer session?
On a personal note, Nick I think you need to calm down a bit. I don't hate you, I couldn't because I do not know you, nor do you know me. Do not bother taking my ribbing on this forum so hard, I find that you are a bit harsh on some of the less learned folks on this forum, maybe being a bit to blunt with some. This forum should be for advice on Audis, even this personal dribble should not be here, but as you brought it up I'd like to respond publically. I'm always happy to drink good beer, maybe some sapphire martinis, with you anytime, most likely with anyone else here as well.
Anyone in the Burlington, VT area, you are welcome to stop by and meet me, talk Audi, drink a few, grille some meat, I'm a pretty laid back fellow and am happy to chat Audi anytime with anyone, even non-Audi talk is preffered because I can get burned out while working with Audi oriented topics all day, just as long as they don't have some chip on their shoulder. Back to my New Castle 22!
Cheers!

Hey Burlington (area) folks. Please shop at The Outdoor Gear Exchange at 191 Bank St and/or Lake Placid Mountaineering in Lake Placid.
I am one of the co-founders and still own part of the company although I am no longer up there.
I would love to head up later this month. Is it already August?!?
Mmm, Vermont Homebrew - ah, good times good times...
Take care,
Andreas

Howdy! I have shopped at the exchange, nice little shop, bought a nice Lowe Alpine shell some years back, still have it, minus the logo.
Sure is August, time is running quickly these days. Our homebrew was bottled last night and hopefully she'll be a tasty one, though I believe it's a bach, which I am not completely fond of so much. I like my LT Blackbeary Wheats all summer, what a great summer brew. Though after just coming back from Oregon I must say they have some stellar microbrews out there too.
It's still a possibility to have an Audi get together up here in VT, though I'd have to do some schedule work and get notes from interested folks. Most of the folks who are likely to come are quattro list folks, though I haven't been on that list for a few months, gotta let the people know.
