Two weeks to the day after I bought my A4, I came home yesterday to find flowers in a vase waiting at my door. The note says "Congratulations on your new Audi!" from the general manager at my dealer. A tear wells up in my eye just thinking about it...! :~)

Anyone else got little notes/gifts from your dealer? It's kinda nice to have the perception that they think of you. My sales guy called me after a week to tell me that the new A6 4.2L came in and asked me if I wanted to take a test drive. Cool!

I "thought" I had a pretty good relationship with my dealer. Over 20 phone calls between the time time I rdered and picked up. Since then, NOTHING! Sniff...sniff....I thought he actually cared!

They're living together now. I asked her if he had any Audi dealership connections when I was shopping for my car. ;) Didn't end up going through him, but his boss did just acquire a new Audi dealer so I might have been able to.
