I am wondering if anyone has ever (or has heard of) anyone putting the P-chip(or any chip) into the A4 1.8t WITH automatic tansmition? Can the transmission handle the power? or should I just buy the 2.8 instead? Thanks for any advise you may offer Matt

...so there shouldn't be any problem with a Stage I (chip + air filter) or Stage II kit (chip, filter, exhaust). Also, Garrett makes a chip for the tiptronic trans which speeds up the shifts and generally optimizes the shifting on that transmission....I'm not aware of any other tuner who offers a Tip chip.
