How/where do you jack the car up? I've tried using the OEM jack, but it doesn't raise the car enough to get the jack stands under it. I have a nice floor jack, but I'm not real sure of where to place for fear of pushing something in. Any ideas/info? TIA

you could jack around the stock jack points with wood blocks either side of the ridge that the standard jacks locks into...

or you can jack on the rear diff...i usually jack the front via the side standard jack points

My old MGB was very low to the ground.
I once had a blow out - I only managed to get the bottle jack under when another MG owner stopped and told me the secret.

Carry a thick plank of wood to drive onto or (which I had to do) reverse onto the spare wheel and the jack up the car, then free the spare. phew!
