View Full Version : Those with lowered cars.... padriug 04-10-2002, 06:07 AM How/where do you jack the car up? I've tried using the OEM jack, but it doesn't raise the car enough to get the jack stands under it. I have a nice floor jack, but I'm not real sure of where to place for fear of pushing something in. Any ideas/info? I once had a blow out - I only managed to get the bottle jack under when another MG owner stopped and told me the secret. Carry a thick plank of wood to drive onto or (which I had to do) reverse onto the spare wheel and the jack up the car, then free the spare. phew!
