We're enjoying some crappy weather here in Grand Rapids, MI. Cold, wet snow... yuck...Problem is my windshield washers on my '91 90 are frozen. I'm supposed to have heated nozzles, but I'm thinking they're not doing their job. Is there an easy way to test for this?

is there a fuse for these items? or a relay? there should be a relay for the heated door locks, because they are timed. anyone know which one it is?

There is a microswitch on the door handle to get them to function. Just pull up on the door handle and they will begin to warm!!

these items (locks, washer jets) are only heated, i thought, when the original buyer opted for the Cold Weather Package...maybe i'm wrong?

IqDOU, that would make sense. Particularly my passenger door -if I hold that handle up for a minute, the lock thaws. Not sure if the driver's door works. Too impatient to stand there holding the handle like a dork - people think you're stuck to the door or something. And if the washer nozzles are heated, that doesn't prevent the lines from choking up, right? Anyway, is there an easy way to check this?

..a multimeter. Check to see if there is power going to them. Then check if the ground is good. Then check to see there is a good connection passing through the nozzle (measure resistance).
If all of those are okay then you should be fine!! HTH!!
