According to the ETKA, and reffering to audi 100's, the CC is the basic deluxe version, CD is the deluxe version and CS is the deluxe sport version

maybe its lost in the german translation...

Sort of like in the old Mercedes *.E, the E denoted fuel injection, which in German is Einspritz.
