Hi can anyone help I have the engine management ligh on . My dealer tested my A2 1.4 Petrol 2001 it shows the fuse on the ecu going to the AGR valve and the brake light has blown due to a short.
6 days in a garage 360 euro bill and the fault repeats after 160 kms. More time in garage , now dealer tells me cant find wire that is earthing. Apparently there is a resistor on the wiring diagram , but they cant find it on the car.

Any ideas?

luckily for me, replaced under warranty.
No problems since then.
Is your dealer an official Audi dealer?
You should also consider bringing it to a larger Audi dealership, that has sold more A2's and thus has more experience with them.

i also had the same problem the brake light switch failed sounds like a manufacturing fault to me!!!
