View Full Version : Sheesh. Tough audience. Okay, how about these shifters? Take the dimple out and etch the hift pattern on top. On the other hand keep the dimple and add a lot more except on a ball like the old GTI knobs. I would really like that! I might even buy one. Although the metal wouldn't be too fun in the hot or cold. RickM 10-08-1999, 07:35 PM Also, the flat aluminum-type surface texture looks cold and has no...um...tactility. So I guess you're drawing these things, EP? What program are you using, on what kind of machine? Very cool! Rick EP 10-08-1999, 07:44 PM Yeah, the material mapping could be anything. Could show it in glass... How about the curves? too thin? markbradford 10-08-1999, 09:23 PM Warren Wang 10-08-1999, 11:18 PM nt Pete B 10-10-1999, 11:26 AM Where are you getting these pictures? They look like screen prints from the movie "Tron." Anyways, would an aluminum shifter get a little cold on the hands here in Minnesota in the winter? |
