Is it true? Clarkson's been saying for a while that Bernd Pischetsrieder is to order Audi to kill the A2 off, it's been said again in this month's Top Gear magazine.

If it's true, it's a shame, as the 1.6 FSI is just what the A2 needed.

And the A2 just isn't getting the sales needed to make another one. My guess is since the money invested in developing the A2 is already a sunk cost, Audi will try to milk the A2 for all it's got. But I doubt there will be another one.

Didn't notice it was over 2 weeks old until I saw the post below this one was when you first got your A2. What a sham the A2 forum is.... =(

If Audi UK would drop some of the price off, it might do better. Stupid time to can it really, the new Mini has just got folk to realise that you can spend a lot of money (comparatively) on a small car - the Cooper S with a stack of options is pushing £20k.

Audi AG won't really care too much, the A2 was good experience in building next-gen ASF cars, should go to make production of the new A8 easier.
