The front underbody faring (under the front bumper) pulled away from the right front bolt. I assume I bottomed the nose out during one of my rides along the steep-ass ditches and pothole roads of Houston. I am going in for my 5K check-up soon. I doubt that it is covered under the warranty, but should I ask anyway? I could claim that it was structurally unsound?!?! What is the cost of a new faring installed in case they will not touch it? Thanks for your help...
I was driving my car off a car carrier and ripped the plastic pan off under front bumper. Total cost of parts was $224 + $50 in labor.

It happened to me. I noticed it while washing the car. Took it in during normal check-up and the service guy at Tischer, Silver Spring, Maryland, said it wasn't covered and was somewhat common. The reason he gave was catching the underside of the bumper on one of those concrete parking burms, then when leaving, the faring comes off the bolt. Well..... I'm sure that didn't happen but anyhow the happy news is that they fixed it, no charge.
BTW, has anyone had the windshield crack in an almost perfect circle around the rear view mirror? '98 1.8tq5s
