Hey everybody....

Thanks to everyone for their help in responding to my post yesterday.... In case you don't recall, I was being screwed by an Appleton Audi dealership for a 2% "dealer holdback" which was really a 2% "advertising fee"... well, I started to get on the horn, and many other dealers called this preposterous and outright dishonest....

Happy ending.... I gave a call to International Autos in Milwaukee, and started talking to Tom Johnson... Offered him 4% over invoice and he countered with 3.5%... never had this happen before... bottom line, too... no "prep fee", "advertising fee", undercoating, or "tire pressure fee"... he also agreed to leave off the front liscense plate holder... I haven't hit him up for the 5-spokes off of the 2.8 yet, but I'll see what I can do when I go to sign the papers...

btw, there is an almost exact copy of what I was looking for coming in in November, if anyone is interested.... Silver/Opal cloth 1.8TQMS with sport seats, convenience, and cold weather... not spoken for yet, and I can almost assure you a good deal...

Now the waiting begins....
