my manual says that I have daytime running lights (fog lights automatically on when the ignition is on)
- but i certainly don't see them on.
not that I care - but just wonderin has it been disabled from the factory or dealer?

I think that is a Canadian thing, Aye? In the manual for my '02 it says this will occur but (Canada models only.) Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

set it up to have your fogs turn on without the headlights

100% of the time? I really like to run them as DRL's, but am concerned that all the hours on my instrument clustor/dash lights will take their toll, and I'll have my dash apart in 2 years replacing them. Any ides on getting the fogs to just run all the time? Perhaps find a Canada wiring/Bentley manual and see how it works? Or get a Canada headlight switch?

be able to do what you want but I haven't seen it done. If my memory serves me right, sometime ago someone was able to get this done....at a cost though. ;-)

If so, then I thought the instrument cluster was off with the mod in place. I'm going to do this [or have it done] as I don't always like running my headlights or remembering to turn them on. However, I want to be able to turn off my fog lights if needed...so I have to figure out how to put a switch in someplace.

Any ideas?
