Anyone have any Problems with their Airbag Conrol Module? My airbag light came on last weekend in my allroad, and the dealer is saying I need a whole new module. Car has never had an airbag deployment or an accident.

If the car is under warranty, let them flail away. If it's you're nickle, I'd investigate much further. I don't konw how much an airbag control module costs, but I'm guessing it ain't cheap.

I am 9 weeks off warranty. The part is $650 and requires 3 hours labor to put it in at dealer rates... I could understand maybe one bag ingniter going, but to have the whole brains of the system, a major safety feature of the car, to fail is unacceptable.

OR..AoA will usually make a consession and extend a courtesy to fix this..but you need to ask at the corporate customer care level.
