dealer quoted me 875 for 5 spoke 16 inch wheels and BFGoodrich touring VR4 tires with trade of the std 15 inch wheels and tires coming on my 2000 1.8t. i live in MN. the deal includes 5 tires/wheels (1 extra as a spare). what do you guys think?

Since you live in Minnesota, you might want to keep the stock wheels and mount snow tires on them for the winter months. Check with Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com). They have good prices, and an huge selection. Also, I'm pretty sure that if you buy a set of tires and wheels together, they will mount and balance them for free.
