I am trying to decide what upgrades to make to my new 99 2.8 A4. I have heard mixed reviews on chip upgrades, and different exhaust systems. If anyone has any feedback i would be very interested. I already have the sport suspension package installed and want to focus on engine relayted mods

I have 98.5 2.8Qtip

I have a Wett chip and Stebro Cat-back exhaust. I paid about $1300 for these mods and have seen minimal gains. I was able to feel the power increase with each mod, but I think my car is still slow, and I got beat in off the line acceleration by a Ford Explorer a few months back!!! ahhhh, that hurt my feelings!!!!

If I was to do it over again, I would have went straight to the PES Supercharger system.

Can the supercharer be added to a 2.8 with auto? or do other mods have to be made so trany. can the the new power and torque?
