I know its time for fronts. I'm not lookig for performance, just a touch better than basic stock.. so Zimmermans and Greenstuff?..opinions? Suggestions?

and the initial bite of these pads is crazy. Everyone that drives my car mentions how sensitive the brakes are... it takes a little bit to get used to, but once you do, they really haul the thing down quickly. I've been very impressed.

The only problem I've seen is that they also eat rotors like it's their job (which it kinda is...). Nothing extreme, but pad change time will require rotor change too, which is normal for these cars anyway.

I put in Mintex Redbox in January and so far so good. They stop better and have much less dust than stock.

Sorry to hear your Business is still going slow.
Maybe its time to think about additional products?
You got tons of machinery to put to use.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&amp;engine=2.7T&amp;model=All%2 0Road&amp;submodel=&amp;category=Braking&amp;subcategory=OEM">http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&amp;engine=2.7

$91.00+- a couple of $$ shipped, and got them from my favorite Audi Parts supplier force5auto. I have the 4 pad/caliper brakes. The wear indicator sensor plug was a match on these also

I just had mine installed $37 ea back pads and $87 for the fronts at Induktion motorsports in MD.
that's less than tree-fiddy! Make sure you tell 'em one or two calipers on the fronts...my '03 has single calipers. Earlier models have 2 I am told.

Now the question is..

1. cut the rotors?
2. Leave them alone as I have no vibes at all.
3. Install Zimms?

Opinions please...

I had approx .050 left to min tolerance on my rotors and cut em. No vibration so far. If you have a lathe at work you could do it for free :-). My total cut was only .015 per rotor.

If $$ is tight try it you have nothing to loose. Don't forget to torque those wheels when done!
