I'm out of this car as soon as I get my tag & title worked out.

I just heard from my "audi advocate" who, after 3 weeks of insisting something would be worked out, just denied they would do anything.

Goodbye audi. Hello something else. what poor customer relations. Sorry guys that I've been the list whiner, but after 45 days in the shop in only 9 months, that bad taste in my mouth coincides with that reamed out feeling I'm having in my backside.

I never even got a chance to mod this thing. Not even an icelink. lame.

http://tommartino.com/

I've used the Trouble Shooter on Network Radio TWICE and in both cases he helped 100%.

GO to the website and tell them the story in detail. In a few days a producer should call you to set up and 'on air' interview. If you make th case strong enough they will get the dealer management on the air to try for a resolution, suggest alternatives, even get a Audi Rep from AoA on air to help evaluate.

THe bad PR value..works.

I'd also contact your local TV consumer reporters: SHAME ON YOU.. they love these stories.

And somehow, this really seems to be more like a unusual very bad experience w/o any efforts shown by your Audi Advocate.

Never give up on the car, it always can be fixed, but for sure disregard the person who got you into this trouble and move on.

Sorry to hear that you really consider dumping the ar....but maybe Paul's advise is worth one last shot....

Stint #1
suspension-left front camber was out

replaced front suspension *except* lower control arms

18 days to troubleshoot, throw parts at it, etc. three alignments, yada yada

Stint #2
Dealer ripped front bumper and fender off car when the rack lowered my car onto a cart parked underneath.

1 week

Stint#4
still not lining up right, dealer had frame pulled to "correct" camber issue

stint #5

transmission-replace
prop shaft-replace
5 days

stint #6
took it in for 50k service, replace turbos, air pump
8 days

stint #7
prop shaft seal-replace
leaking coolant
2 days

this is friggin insane. I'm paying 500/month to drive an A4? I could just about lease 2 of them for that price.

I'm over it. I'm over the time I've had to spend on it. I have more important things to do with my life than battle a lame dealer and a lame manufacturer. Audi doesn't read these boards. If they did, gee, maybe they'd try to shut me up.

I am out just traded 03 allroad in today. The feeling comes in a close third after birth of my 2 kids.
42 days in shop 32k on car i only put 10k on. Engine has been out twice
Car still has bad brakes and the turbo is not providing boost and is screaming hmmm.... CEL flickers on and off Paint falling off fender flairs from Ice build up other than that she's sweet.
I am sure audi makes some great cars this particular one wasnt it. Carfax shows about 20 items on it now and was sold in New England. Good luck Danger there is a light at the end of the tunnel, these have good resale value!
ALLROAD IN SHOP.......OUT!

Hi All,

This is my first post but I have been lurking for months. My wife and I leased a new 04 AR last July and we love it. Would love to chip it because I have driven one with a chip and WOW, but do not want the potential headaches of a chipped car. Anyway just wondering that in general do the problem child Audi's tend to be cars that are purchased as used vs. new cars? Just curious.

a toyota landcruiser. Its a big monster but should be a stop gap till I figure out what I want.
I would stay away from German labels for a while. that Infiniti M35 is a hell of a machine you should check it out. I really liked the form function of the allroad but no more audis for me. Japanese cars only.
