Anyone able to compare the results of swapping Allroad rear sway bar to: a.) H-Sport setup, b.) A6 Sport, c.) S6 (maybe same as 'b.)?

Anyone know the thicknesses of the Audi products?

I may be wrong, but my memory of past posts recalls that all other bars whether from an Audi or Aftermarket, hit some of the air suspension components and vibrate or don't mount properly.

Only the H-sports for the allroad work.

it was from the A6 sport package. problem was it had a different bend in it and it and tended to make clunking noises on the compressor for the air suspension. Before H-sport started making bars for the allroad this was the only option to stiffen that roll.

Again, PSK was a rear only change. H-sports are front and rear. Most of the folks that had installed the PSK's went to H-Sports when they became available.

Search for PSK for the whole history.

Thanks for the advice gragravar, I was only thinking about the rear bar but sounds lilke I may now need to contemplate the two?

Thanks Paulroad, sounds like the Audi part is not a good idea. Just bummed about the $392 vs. $200'ish for the Audi part.

What kind of percentage reductiuon in roll would you say the H kit offers? Does the ride comfort suffer much? This is my wifes daily driver and she will be anti anything that reduces the comfort (baby on the way).

no perceptible change in comfort and HUGE difference in body roll.

Where are you located? there is probably someone on the board here nearby with H-sports that you could grab a ride with to check it out.

That would be great, I am Bay Area. Anyone within a reasonable drive from the peninsula?

Just be careful if you drive/ride in Dan Farmer's car - it is likely to cause an adiction recoverable only with lots of modding to your wife's car. ;-)

For your wife set it on the soft setting. If she wants more go hard. Very little is given up in the way of comfort. IMO

Any thoughts one getting discount on these puppies? Car is on a lease and so we are not keen to lay out much in uncoverable costs.

BTW, by 'Soft Setting' do you mean the second highest setting?
Not sure that I find that any softer than the lowest setting?

OK, got it. Thanks. Where do most Allroaders buy their H_Sport bars?

Hey MUDI, did you ride in it? was it firm, roll resistant etc.? and was there any knocking?

I have the PSK on my avant, and it definitely helped, for $100 a worthwhile upgrade, but if I had the 2.7t there's no question in my mind I'd buy the H-sports, and I'm a cheap bastard about 'value' from mods... hth.

Sarge, thanks for the words. I will ponder the choice as I currently get my weekday kicks in our volks R32. BTW, are you a Brit by any chance?

Curious why you ask that?

Re the H-sport bars, I've yet to hear ONE person say they didn't LOVE them, don't think you can go wrong there...

Hi Sarge, no real reason for asking other than the wording of your last response sounded English. Sounds like I need to work on the wife for the H-bars, she is much more pro just swapping to the S6 rear.

Love to visit San Diego, here ist's great. Thanks for your input Sarge,
