Sometime within the past 2-3 weeks, someone posted a description of a silver touch-up paint that was a near identical match to the A4 wheel paint. I printed it, then lost it. Now, when I need it, can't find it.

Did a search in the present "Wheel" and "A4" forums for it, not there unless I missed it. Did an archive search under "wheel", "paint", "silver", "touch-up", "touch up", and various combinations using AND - can't find it (also, archive search on forums older than about 2-3 months pulls up the complete FORUM, not the individual POST - big PITA, makes archive search nearly useless. I don't remember this being the case on previous searches unless it was a real old post of about '97 or before).

Any help appreciated.

Couldn't find Plasti-Kote, but manuals cross-referenced to Dupli-Color no. 77-01579. Say it's Toyota Platinum Silver ,'89-'94

Used it to touch up my Porsche track wheels and 993 OE wheels - matched perfectly also. Wanted to write up article for our car club, but wanted reference to Plasti-Kote no. and your name to give credit where it's due.
