How many of you get flashed at night when your headlights are on? This is my first car with halogens so I am not sure if this is a common experince. I have had the dealer try to lower the beams but I still get flashed very frequently especially when I am in town and not on the highway.

Not sure if it's the brightness or the direction. Had the same "problem" in my first allroad.

I have lowered the height of my car (402 mod) and generally drive around on what would be a stock setting of 1 and I have Xenons. My wife has an A4 Cab with the same self leveling Xenons lights and never gets a flash. The xenons are brighter than Halogens too.

i've only gotten flashed at once... driving on a tiny two lane highway w/ no street lights. i'd imagian they're pretty bright with no other lights around

if there is a two lane road I am travelling on, I will get flashed several times by oncoming traffic. My beams are set at the stock height.

They say they are too bright. I think it's that they are whiter in color, which is different from most headlights. The difference causes people to look directly at them. There was the same sort of complaints when Halogens first came in years ago. People will soon get used to them. I think they are great especially in adverse weather such as rain and snow.
