If the '00 A4 is drive by wire would that effect chip modifications? Do any of the usual chip modifiers have a compatible chip yet?

I have a 1.8T Beetle with the throttle by wire system. I recently bought a 15psi chip from Garrett and was not disappointed with the extra power. This car now rocks, it only weighs 2800 lbs.
