19.4 actual mileage at the pump and speedometer.
We went from Portland, Oregon to Calistoga, California on I-5. It was a great trip with the H-Sports and 18" wheels.
Of the total miles, the breakdown was as follows:
> 1280 miles on freeway in the range of 70 - 80 mph.
> 50 miles with four guys driving through the beautiful backroads of the upper Napa Valley trying to spin the turbo's all the way up!
> 120 miles of sedate driving through the hills and backroads of the Napa Valley.
The guys were all impressed with the AR and compared it to the X5, MB E320, Volvo sedan, and a 5 series BMW. The vote was that the AR was smoother, quietier and faster than the X5, better appointed than the E320 and just about as fun to drive as the 2002 5 series BMW.
