Saw the Tie Rod TSB papers today. Most dealers won't even have parts to perform the repairs until after October 15th at the earliest. We tried checking the parts numbers and they aren't even available yet in the system.

Oh, BTW, the TSB affects not just A4s, but also A6s, A8s, and Passats! Talk about a lot of repairs!

That's the picture I just got from AoA client services. The campaign isn't even listed in their system yet.

The VIN for my '98 1.8T is within the recall range, but it has yet to be confirmed. I'm due for 35K service in a couple of weeks, so I'm hoping that I'll get the word by then.
