Who on the allroad forum is going? I'll be there on Sunday the 18th... perhaps we can meet?

Your sig caught my attention. Nice pair of Audis! I have an '03 allroad and we're thinking of getting an A4 Cab for my wife. We haven't driven one yet but I'd be interesetd in your opinion. I noticed you have the 3.0Q. How does the acceleration feel? Especially compared to the allroad? I'm considering the 3.0 Front Track because of the acceleration advantage, but I'm not quite sure about the CVT's driveability and reliability.

we must get to work so Non awd is not an option.

We love the way the Cab drives and accelerates.. vey pleased. Its a bit stronger than the A4 2.8Q it replaced. Natrually as a cab its is not as smooth over bumps, but after 400 miles.. there is no windsheild shake. Even though its new.. the MPG is sucking big time. The average is only 12-13MPG where the 2.8 was averaging 17-18 with the same driver and habbits. We will see.

I've been reading alot of problems with the CVT, so I'd give it some good thought...

My cousin, we learned, bought a 1.8T Frontrack a week prior, he loves it but calls it slow......

Last year was the first year that I went on a Sat and I must say I prefer the lesser crowd numbers and lack of tints, stereos, PS2's, and neon lights is nice too.

I'll prolly be bringing my 5 YO and to have a smaller crowd is a lot easier w/ him.

But if more people are meeting on Sun, I might be able to switch days.

Ill probably be heading down with a large and diverse crew (everything from A4s to widebody S4s) around the BK area so if you wanna roll down with us, its always a blast..
