I'm wondering how difficult it is to install regular springs and shocks in this car - given the $3000+ bills some have seen for replacement/repair of air suspension components.

I'm sure once these cars start to fall into the low teens in value (as they get older and hit higher miles) some will just yank the air suspension and go conventional.

Just curious if anyone ever looked into the cost/difficulty of that.

have a clue of what he is doing. As a matter of fact the components of the AR suspension are less expensive then the regular coil/strut setup. Problem is - they fail so seldomly that the dealers did not aquire enough experience in diagnostics yet.
