I'm thinking about the Ronal/Nokian package and would like some input on the tires. I like my Dunlop M3s but they seem to have a short life. We run Goodyear UltraGrip Ice on my wife's A4 and they're the best snow tire I've ever used but not available in 17".

Had Nokian Hakka1's on my '01 A6 2.7TqMS and have Hakka2's on my current '04 S4. The Hakka tires are known to last for a longer period then most other snow tires. They are excellent tires in the snow and ice. My experience has been limited to Blizzaks in the past.

I've had them for a few weeks, including a trip to the snow.

I recently bought WRs and I will be using them all year around. Severe service rating AND treadlife warranty! I am impressed with them but I guess if you will be buying dedicated snow tires you can do even better with their hakas (everybody says "haka", try to spell their real name...). Seems like a very nice tire and good company.

We ran them year round and they lasted about 20k miles (warranty to 50k). Great snow and ice traction when new, sucked when near the wear bars. Very good performance in the wet and dry.
