Dear A4.org readers,
Its been a year since I sold my analog Startac phone and moved up to PCS. However the requests for my Startac Handsfree Kit have kept rolling in. I don't have any desire to make and sell kits due to time and liability issues, but I might consider posting instructions for DIY'ers in return for a postcard or minimal fee.
My current project is turning your voltage meter into a boost gauge. I developed this independently from Curt Redl and have found an inexpensive way to do it without _permanantly_ modifying your instrument cluster. I don't plan on printing up another gauge face for a Boost scale. Rather this will be an analog version with relative boost over the existing voltage scale. (10V = 1ATM, 16V = 2 ATM or 1 bar boost) Flips back to regular volts with a hidden switch so your dealer won't notice.
I'd like to see more projects like this. The number of FAQs has crawled to a halt.
