Hallo All
I've read numerous posts about sway-bar upgrade for allroad in forum and decided to perform the same for my AR 2,7. Unfortunately I could enjoy a thrilling firm ride only for several days, and now I experience the following:
The new (S6) sway bar pulls out right connecting rod from the bottom rubber mount. I have replaced connecting rod with a new one, but it happened again. The left side functions OK. May be you have any clue what I did wrong?
Has anybody else experienced the same problem?
Thanks in advance
Alex

The dealer did the installation and gave me the old sway bar and bushings. Other than improved handling, I have had virtually nothing else to report other than a rare vibration when the load leveling pump comes on -- and that generally is under a 10 second issue and only when someone climbs into the back seat, the buzz is usually gone before I get out of the parking lot.
I did not know it was an S6 anti sway bar, I thought it was the A6 sway bar from the sport package option -- maybe that is the same as the S6, beats me -- mine is 18mm the original is 15mm. The car just plain corners with less fuss, especially on level one and two.
In the past, people reported problems with early allroads that had metal connecting arms for the rear stabilizer -- some of the arms broke, apparently, and the PSK (or S6) bar would only make that problem worse.
Starting 'round about spring, 2001, Audi built allroads with nylon arms, and they don't seem to be such a problem in this regard.
I don't know if that's the problem you're having, but it's one possibility. HPH

It's too bad they diddn't just re-enforce the connecting arm.
This means that there are early 2001 allroad's running around that handle better than late 2001s/02s/03s, assuming nothing is broken. =)

the end links you can move the end link quite a bit. there is a rubber bushing of some kind on bottom of end link where it connects (lower control arm?) and flexes easily at that point.

end links. that is how i installed and i have had no problems. some people have ran into problems installing on a lift without the suspension loaded. bar goes on inside of outer links also.

It is 2001 year model, built on 24.12.00. I have replaced metal connecting arm with the nylon one, but it also did not help. The right arm is tugged from the bottom bushing. May be I have tightened the sway bar mounts too much?
