My dealer called me today and said some after-market company will install demo spoilers on some of their cars, and if I would be interested in getting one at a discount. I said I'll need to see it before even thinking about it, so he'll call me back once they're installed so I can take a look.

Personally, I like the beautiful clean lines of the A4, and can't think of how a spoiler would enhance it. But now he's got me thinking... I haven't seen any on the road with a rear spoiler, and I'm curious to see if anyone has them and if they like 'em.

When I check out the dealer's demos, I'll see if I can get a digicam and snap some pics to post here.

In my opinion, a rear spoiler does a lot to enhance the look of the A4, and in no way detracts from it, but then again I admit that many others will disagree with me. Earlier this year, I was at my dealership (Agincourt Autohaus in Toronto) for a service interval and noticed a spoiler on a silver A4 which really appealed to me; it was very nice, not too extravagant like many you see on the road today, and it had a clear centre mounted brake light (I wasn't crazy about this at first, but it has grown on me). Anyhow, I had the dealer track down the supplier of this spoiler and it turns out that it is an Audi factory spoiler, which I assume would mean it would be accesible via any Audi dealership. The price was comparable to the aftermarket ones such as the one supplied by LLTEK, so I went for it and to this day I have no regrets. It's all a matter of taste, so best of luck in your decision.

No attitude intended; your spoiler looked pretty good as far as spoilers go, but IMHO, I don't think an A4 looks any better with one than it does without.
